Sarah Duggan (she/her)

Manager of Communications

Sarah Duggan is the Manager of Communications at Movement for Family Power, where she uses written and visual storytelling as an organizing and movement-building tool.

Sarah has worked at grassroots, legal, and advocacy organizations supporting systems-impacted families in sharing their stories through public testimony, legislative advocacy, media interviews, and other multimedia projects. She has developed campaign identities and led communications strategy for campaigns focused on reproductive justice, harm reduction, and ending the criminalization of families.

Sarah is also a freelance photographer covering movements for social, racial, and economic justice. Her work has been featured in national and local publications including The Nation, National Public Radio (NPR), The Appeal, El Diario, Law 360, and Brooklyn Daily Eagle.

Sarah is a graduate of Emory University, where she was a Law and Social Science Fellow.
